I can’t be the only one thinking that the Jaina + Kalecgos pairing could yield a half-dragon.

Watching Trade for PuGs to join is the kind of thing that gets me out of the mood to join PuGs, but I’ve done an awful lot of it in the past few weeks. My raid group hasn’t raided, folks in my other guilds mostly play other games, so I’ve spent far too much time lately logging into WoW and then getting sad that I have no one with whom to do stuff..

But I hear there will soon be pandas.

So that is jolly.

I finally reached a level of desperation great enough that I signed up for a BWD run on openraid today. It went well. The group had so much more experience and gear than my usual gang so bosses died like they were from previous expansions. So that was good to do, but nowhere near as fun as playing with friends. Funny how that works.

Classes considered OOC

Yup. I am of the school of thought that, when RPing, it’s usually a bad idea to call people out as being a particular class.

But then my background is that I played NWN for years before playing WoW, and NWN is D&D. And in D&D, there’s a thing called multiclassing. You can take levels of monk with your cleric, f’rinstance. This helps to muddy the waters a little so that people aren’t tempted to just call people by their class names. And among the people I played with there was an understanding that you took levels of classes that represented something of the background of your character, but you couldn’t assume that, say, all Bards were the same kind of character.
